The American Dream
Last week we talked about the American Dream and the Declaration of Independence.
Our music video for the day was Selena Gomez's "Tell me something I don't know"
The idiom of the day was "tell me something I don't know" which is something you say as a response, after someone tells you something:
A. that you already know.
B. that is bad news (usually)
A famous expression that people use to describe the American dream is to have "2.5 kids and a white picket fence"
The Declaration of Independence talks about three things "life, libery, and the pursuit of happiness."
